# Lokuma

> Lokuma is a designer-grade AI website builder. You describe your business and it generates a complete, design-polished website — brand, layout, copy, and imagery — that you own as real React/Vite code, with no platform lock-in. Lokuma also offers the Design Agent: the same design intelligence exposed as an API for AI coding tools.

Lokuma has two products that share one login but bill independently:

- **Website Builder** — generate, edit, and publish a finished website in the browser.
- **Design Agent** — a design-intelligence layer you plug into Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, or any AI stack so the pages those tools generate get real design quality (premium typography, refined layout, visual hierarchy) instead of generic output.

- Build time: a complete, design-polished site usually takes 3–8 minutes from prompt to publish; the AI agent handles brand, layout, copy, and imagery, and you review and refine.
- Free tier: generate and preview for free; free sites publish to a lokuma.app subdomain.
- Paid plans: the Starter plan ($15/mo or $180/yr) unlocks custom domains and code export; Pro and Enterprise add more capacity. See the pricing page for current numbers.
- Code ownership: every generated site is real React/Vite code, editable through a visual editor, an in-app code editor, or by exporting and editing locally — no vendor lock-in.
- Languages: the platform UI ships in English, 日本語, 中文, 한국어, español, and português brasileiro; AI-generated sites can be authored in any language you prompt in.
- Design Agent billing: pay-as-you-go (metered per call) with a free welcome credit to try; install with one shell command plus an API key.
- Difference from Wix AI / Squarespace AI: Lokuma optimizes for real design quality rather than template-feeling sites, and outputs code you own.
